These meticulously crafted eggshell speakers are the brainchild of Flickr user “Gomhi,” and I can only wonder how much time it took — and how many shells he cracked — building these tiny, oblong speakers. You can see he didn’t just cut holes for the drivers; he also needed to attach connectors in back. Impressive.

Each shell contains a Hi-Vi B1S driver. Gomhi says they sound a little narrow, so they’re probably not the best with music that has a lot of pumping bass, but folky tunes might sound OK. At least until he gets hungry for an omelet.
